Our Services

Developmental Editing

A Book A Day will work with you from the onset of the story (being just a thought in your head) to the completion. We will brainstorm with you to bring the characters to life, and work until the words become a story.

We will work with you through a series of rounds. ABAD will add feedback to your draft, then hand it back so you can incorporate what makes sense to you and ask for clarification about what doesn’t. The suggestions you get will focus primarily on the big-picture stuff; think structure, organizing, frameworks, alignment, and completeness.

Specific suggestions about the core content development and goal of the story.

Assistance in finding the right direction of the story.

Aiding with the development and growth of the characters.

Ideas reference usage of dialogue, story-line pacing, and sensory description.
